Laird Township has an agreement with the City of Sault Ste. Marie
to allow Laird Township residents to dispose of
hazardous waste at the Sault Ste. Marie Household Hazardous Waste Depot. The depot is located in the city’s landfill site but there is no ‘gate fee’ to use this service for Laird residents.
Hazardous waste will not be accepted at the Laird Township Disposal Site.
