Municipal Transparency – Reporting and Statements
The Treasurer is responsible for administrating the Township’s budgetary process and reporting annually on the Township’s financial activity and health. Council implemented a new Budget Policy that requires the Treasurer to report to Council all Budget variances and any recommendations for the remaining Budget amounts. This information is included in council meeting agendas and minutes for transparency.
