INFORMATION
The stations attract nature enthusiasts from throughout the region. This natural wetland is a haven for many different species of birds including the spring migration of Pintail, Blue-winged Teal, Green-winged Teal, and American Widgeon. Sandhill Cranes can be seen in the summer and depending upon the severity of the season, a variety of owls in the winter. From the viewing platform you can also see across Lake George and get a sense of the rustic shoreline that was created when glaciers carved out the lake many years ago. Swans have been visiting in the spring and fall at the station at Centennial Park for a number years.
