What You Need to Know for 2026
Laird Township will be electing one Head of Council (Mayor) and four Councillors to serve the community for the 2026–2030 term. Here are some key highlights and dates to keep on your radar:

Traditional Paper Ballots: The Township will continue to use in-person, paper ballot voting for this election.

Candidate Information Session: Thinking of running? Mark your calendar for June 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. A session will be held at Bruce Station Hall featuring representatives from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing to answer your questions.

Voter Registration: Ensure you are ready to cast your ballot by confirming or updating your information at RegisterToVoteON.ca.
