Friendly reminder GLASS is NOT accepted as a recyclable by the recycling provider and therefore residents are requested to put glass in with their regular garbage. Staff is working on transitioning into a new Blue Box Program that will include glass, however, the transition will not take place until 2025. If anything changes before 2025 a notice will be provided in a newsletter and at the Waste Disposal Site.

Some exceptions to the #2 plastic that we CANNOT accept are: Motor oil bottles, pesticide and herbicide containers, wide mouth containers like margarine, yogurt and ice cream tubs, and 20 litre pails.
