Recyling Change Notification


The plastic buyer will NOT accept any FILM PLASTIC (No grocery bags, water bottle case plastic, etc.) And NO STYROFOAM of any description (NO meat trays or any packing material of any kind).

Aseptic containers, waxy cardboard such as drink boxes and milk cartons ( minus the straws), now go in with the paper.

TIPPING FEES

Tipping Fees must be paid prior to depositing items at the Disposal Site. Payments may be made a the Municipal Office during regular work hours or to the Disposal Site Attendant. The receipt of payment will allow a person to dispose of those items below that have a cost. People may be asked from time to time to provide information about their place of residency which will help council in determining who is using the disposal site and from what areas.

MUNICIPAL RESIDENTIAL WASTE
– Mattresses, chesterfields/chairs – $10.00 per item
– Major household appliances -tagged/white metal – No charge


COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL/INSTITUTIONAL
General/Usual Waste:
Hauled by contractor or self hauled, apportioned accordingly by:
– 1/2 ton – $15.00 per 1/2 half ton
– Half ton – $30.00 per half ton
– Single axle (1 ton) – $75.00 per ton
– Double axle – $150.00 per load
– Larger – $250.00
– Modified hauling vehicles – To be negotiated


CONTRUCTION DEBRIS
General/Usual Solid Waste
(Eg: asphalt, shingles, mixed material, painted wood, building blocks, bricks, concrete slabs and aggregate apportioned accordingly by:)
– 1/2 half ton – $15.00 per 1/2 half ton
– Half ton – $30.00 per half ton
– Single axle (1 ton) – $100.00 per ton
– Double axle – $155.00 per load
– Larger – To be negotiated


SCRAP METAL
– All scrap metal including metal furniture – Bins at Waste Disposal Site


TIRES
– In designated areas of Disposal Site – No charge
