Fall Clean-Up Days 2026: Laird Township
It’s time for our annual Fall Clean-Up! The Laird Township Council has officially set the dates and hours for this year’s disposal site event.
Dates & Hours:

Saturday, October 17, 2026: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, October 18, 2026: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Cost & Eligibility:

During these two days, all household waste may be disposed of at no charge.

Please note that business waste is excluded from this event.
Recycling Reminders:

Do not put any recyclable materials into the landfill.

Cardboard: We kindly ask that everyone breaks down their cardboard boxes before placing them in the recycling bins. Intact boxes take up excess space and are considered contamination, which ultimately increases costs for taxpayers.
Appliances:

If you are bringing old stoves, washers or dryers, please put them beside the metal bin so they can be easily moved into the bin.

Refrigerators, freezers and dehumidifiers are accepted. Please place these items beside the metal recycling bin. A fee of $35.00 will be charged before drop-off for each item without the appropriate tag indicating the refrigerant has been removed.
Items NOT Accepted at the Laird Waste Disposal Site:
Please make alternative arrangements for the following items, as they will not be accepted:

Paints (unless dried in the can)

Liquids of any kind

Biomedical wastes

Radioactive materials

Hazardous materials
