The fairgrounds will be ready to welcome guests throughout the weekend! General admission is straightforward and affordable.
Gate Hours:
  • Friday: Gates open at 4:00 PM
  • Saturday: Gates open at 7:00 AM
  • Sunday: Gates open at 7:00 AM

Community Giving: The organizers have set up a fantastic way to give back to the community! For children 12 & under, admission is by donation of either canned food items for the Echo Bay Food Bank or school supplies for Sammy’s Back Pack.

If you are coming to the Laird Fair this August 14–16, why not make a weekend of it and camp right at the fairgrounds?
The Laird Fair is offering free camping all weekend so visitors can fully immerse themselves in the event. Bring your tent, camper, or trailer, and stay for a full weekend of Laird Fair fun without worrying about extra lodging costs. Come for the fair and stay for the whole weekend!
Everything You Need to Know About Camping:
  • Cost: Camping is free all weekend!
  • Reservations: There is no registration required to claim a spot.
  • Facilities: Washrooms are available 24 hours a day on the grounds.
  • Utilities: Please come prepared to dry camp, as there are no water or power hookups available on site.

Thursday, August 13th & Friday, August 14th

The weekend begins with preparations on Thursday before the gates officially open for Friday’s evening festivities.

Thursday, 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM Indoor Exhibit Drop Offs.
Friday, 4:00 PM Gates Open! Early arrivals can visit the Vendors, jump into the Nerf Battle Zone or Northern GellyBall, and enter the Raffle Prize Draw.
Friday, 6:00 PM The Bar Opens, and the weekend-long Softball Tournament throws its first pitch.
Friday, 7:00 PM Activities split up with the Kid’s Glow Party taking place in the Light Green Barn, while Fun Games get underway in the Arena.
Friday, 8:00 PM Northern Honky Tonk provides the evening’s entertainment.
Friday, 9:00 PM Teen Glow in the Dark Volleyball gets started.
Friday, 10:00 PM Karaoke and a DJ take over the music.
Friday, 1:15 AM Gates Close.

Saturday, August 15th

Saturday is the most packed day of the fair, running from dawn until well past midnight.

7:00 AM Gates Open.
8:00 AM Fuel up at the Pancake Breakfast (hosted by North Channel Lightning), and the Softball Tournament resumes.
9:00 AM An RHV Clinic Session begins (running until 12:30 PM), and Poultry Show Registration opens.
10:00 AM A massive block of activity begins: Arm Wrestling Registration opens, Vendors and Indoor Exhibits welcome visitors, and the Farm Friends Viewing is available. Action zones like the Nerf Battle Zone and Northern GellyBall re-open.
10:30 AM Larry Skinkle hosts a Horsemanship Demonstration, and Pet Show Registration begins.
11:00 AM The Bouncy House/Kids Zone opens up alongside the official Pet Show.
12:00 PM The Bar Opens, and the Team Human Tractor Pull gets underway.
1:00 PM The Arm Wrestling Competition kicks off, and Larry Skinkle returns for a second Horsemanship Demonstration.
1:30 PM A second RHV Clinic Session starts, lasting until 5:00 PM.
3:00 PM Test your balance on the Mechanical Bull.
6:00 PM Evening fun begins with the Adult Barn Yard Olympics, the Toughest Farmer Hay Toss, and Chicken Poop Bingo.

Sunday, August 16th

The final day focuses on family fun, heavy machinery, and wrapping up the weekend’s competitions.

8:00 AM RHV Horse Show Registration begins, the Softball Tournament continues, and Indoor Exhibits open for final viewings.
9:00 AM The RHV Horse Show commences.
10:00 AM Lawn Tractor Registration opens. Visitors can also enjoy the Vendors, Farm Friends Viewing, Nerf Battle Zone, and Northern GellyBall.
11:00 AM Kids Sunday/Fun Day takes over! This major event includes Interactive Partners, Touch-A-Truck, Animal Friends, Barn Yard Olympics, a Team Tractor Pull, a Bouncy House, and a Craft Table.
12:00 PM Lawn Tractor Races get their engines revving, and Michaela Bowen presents a Horsemanship Demonstration, followed directly by a Meet & Greet.
1:00 PM Get your cards ready for Chocolate Bar Bingo.
4:00 PM The highly anticipated ATV Raffle Draw takes place.
4:30 PM Winners are finally crowned at the Softball Tournament Awards.
6:00 PM Gates Close officially, with a final send-off: “See you in 2027!!”
