AND THAT staff be directed to accept the modified Fuel Service Agreement and direct staff to prepare a By-law to adopt the agreement.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the Compliance Audit Committee report;
AND THAT Council approves participation in the Joint Compliance Audit Committee with the Central Algoma area municipalities for the 2026 Municipal Election term;
AND THAT Council endorses the appointment of Jim Withers, Randy Barbarie, and Phyllis MacKay to serve on the Compliance Audit Joint Committee for the Central Algoma municipalities for the 2026 Municipal Election term;
AND THAT Council authorize the Clerk to prepare a Compliance Audit Committee by-law.
b. Planning: Application for Consent – L2026-03

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the Consent Application L2026-03 and directs staff to communicate with the Desbarats to Echo Bay Planning Board that Council recommends consent not be given as Council does not want to see farms carved up, Council has denied proposed plans like this one in the past and keeping with the future Official Plan that would restrict this severance and it would go against the Provincial Policy Statement policies requiring the preservation of agricultural areas and limiting non-farm lot creation within them.

c. Memo: Algoma Horse Association Rental Issue & Request for Donation of Large Barn Use

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the Algoma Horse Association Rental Issue & Request for Donation of Large Barn Use report;
AND THAT Council directs staff to donate the big barn use for the remainder of the 2026 season as long as it is before winter storage and that staff is to reaffirm Friday access policy to ensure groups do not advertise Friday events without rental payment.
