Public Notice: Government Road Ditching Project
The Township of Laird will be conducting ditching work along the west side of Government Road, extending from Knox Church to the Government Road Bridge. The project is scheduled to begin on June 8, 2026, and was approved by Council to improve drainage, address ongoing water issues, and prepare the roadway for resurfacing later this summer.
Proper drainage is essential to protect the road base and extend the lifespan of the surface treatment.
