Public Notice: Seasonal Reduced Load Restrictions Now In Effect
Please be advised that seasonal reduced load restrictions are now actively in effect for all Laird Township roads. These measures are necessary to help protect our municipal road infrastructure from severe damage during the vulnerable spring thaw period.
Restriction Details

Weight Limit: Vehicles are strictly limited to a maximum of 5 tonnes per axle.

Duration: These restrictions will remain in place until further notice. The exact date they are lifted will depend entirely on progressing weather and road conditions.

Signage: Please watch for and obey all posted signs on municipal roadways. Operators must ensure their vehicles comply with the applicable weight limits before traveling on Township roads.
Important Reminder: Secure Your Loads
Whether you are hauling brush, gravel, or debris, please remember that you must securely tarp all loads. It prevents littering, protects other drivers, and it is the law.
