Council Meeting Minutes – February 28, 2022
MINUTES OF AGENDA NUMBER 46, OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF LAIRD, HELD 0N FEBRUARY 28,
2022, HELD IN PERSON AT THE LAIRD HALL.

ON MOTION (No. 25-22) of Shawn Evoy, seconded by Todd Rydall that Council requests Clerk to modify current agreement with changes, as discussed, and have CARRIED the municipal lawyer finalize lease agreement.
ON MOTION (No. 26-22) of Ed Lapish, seconded by Shawn Evoy that the next portion of the meeting be closed to the public to discuss labour relations or CARRIED employee negotiations.
ON MOTION (No. 27-22) of Shawn Evoy, seconded by Frank Turco that Council CARRIED returns to open meeting.
ON MOTION (No. 28-22) of Frank Turco, seconded by Todd Rydall that Council requests that the Clerk send a letter to the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks requesting an extension on March 4 comment deadline to March 31, 2022 in order to ensure sufficient time to thoroughly review the Draft CARRIED Environmental Compliance Approval.
ON MOTION (No. 29-22) of Ed Lapish, seconded by Frank Turco that Council CARRIED meeting be adjourned at 5:11 p.m.
