MAILBOXES ON TOWNSHIP ROADS
FOLLOWING IS THE OFFICIAL POLICY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF LAIRD REGARDING
MAILBOXES ON TOWNSHIP ROADS:
1. Laird Township road department will replace or repair any mailbox post that has been physically damaged by snow removal equipment (not flying snow) provided that the box has been erected as shown in the sketch below.
2. Laird Township road department, when re-constructing a road, will remove all mail boxes on that road. Owners will be responsible for erecting them when the road construction work is completed.
3.Laird Township accepts no responsibility for improperly erected mailboxes.
