4. Staff and Committee Reports a) Caretaker
Vasco Dias reported that the chains on the swings need to be replaced. Some brushing needs to be done by the road dept. along with some tree limbing. The sand should come in the Spring and the changeroom needs a sign and solar lights. Also, a bear proof garbage can would be a good idea.
b) Main Recreation Committee Member
5. Business Arising out of the Minutes a) Budget 2024 & 2025
The Secretary Rhonda Crozier reported the 2024 Park Budget is under budget. It was discussed that Gazebo post still have to be completed. For 2025 budget, it was discussed
to include money for tree limbing.
b) Five Year Plan
The committee discussed updating the Five Year Plan.
6. New Business a) Meet & Greet
The committee discussed hosting a Meet and Greet in 2025. #11-24 Moved by: Kathy Sutherland Seconded by: Vasco Dias “Be it resolved that the Pumpkin Point Park Committee hereby approves of hosting a Meet and Greet in August 2025.” CARRIED
