Fall Clean-Up:

Council has set the Waste Disposal Site hours for fall clean-up days as: Saturday October 15, 2022 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday October 16, 2022 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There is no charge for all household waste during these days, businesses are excluded. Please do not put recyclable material in the landfill.

If you are bringing old stoves/washers/dryers, please put them beside the metal bin so they can be easily moved into bin.

We accept refrigerators, freezers and dehumidifiers. These items are to be placed beside the metal recycling bin. A FEE of $35.00 will be charged before drop off for each item without the appropriate tag indicating refrigerant has been removed.

Friendly reminder GLASS is NOT accepted as a recyclable by the recycling provider and therefore residents are requested to put glass in with their regular garbage. Staff is working on transitioning into a new Blue Box Program that will include glass, however, the transition will not take place until 2025. If anything changes before 2025 a notice will be provided in a newsletter and at the Waste Disposal Site.
