Council at the February 20, 2025 Council meeting passed resolution #31-25, setting the Council Term priorities for 2025 as follows:

1) Policy Development

a. Unassumed Road Policy (including appropriate road signage)

b. Council Staff Relations Policy (mandatory)

c. Delegation of Powers and Duties Policy (mandatory)

d. Level of Service By-law (Minimum Maintenance Standards?)

e. Remuneration Policy (review)

f. Donation Policy

2) Municipal Drains – Report on how the Drainage Act works and possible development of a Municipal Drain Policy

3) Human Resources Development

a. HR Policy and Procedural Manual

b. Job Description evaluation and improvement – performance evaluation process, requirements for pay levels.

4) Payment Efficiencies

a. Streamline automatic monthly payments

b. Investigate tax program for efficiencies, to save time on electronic payments

c. Look into the ability for people to login and see account balance and pay by direct deposit.

5) Official Plan/Zoning By-law

a. Official Plan approval

b. Zoning By-law amendments

i. Bunky, Small houses, hobby farms

ii. Charges for parkland in lieu levy on consents.

6) Tax Stabilization Reserve

7) Council Boardroom Improvements:

a. New chairs

b. Place mats

c. Mount tv on wall

d. Logo on wall

e. Remove table in corner

f. Clean cabinet

g. Remove pictures

h. Have bigger map under glass.

i. White board

j. New clock

k. Remove some of the stationary chairs.
